PVSSC is a member club of the American Shetland Sheepdog
Association (ASSA) and is licensed by the American Kennel Club (AKC). Our
AKC-defined territory is in and around Washington, DC including adjacent
Maryland and Virginia suburbs, Fairfax County, Prince William County and the
eastern portion of Loudoun County (east of State Route 15) including Maryland
communities directly across the Potomac and in proximity to the Potomac River.
